Five little
pumpkins in the pumpkin patch,
SNATCH went
a pumpkin to make a pumpkin pie.
Four little
pumpkins in the pumpkin patch,
SNATCH went
a pumpkin for a long, truck ride.
Three little
pumpkins in the pumpkin patch,
SNATCH went
a pumpkin to become a glowing light.
Two little
pumpkins in the pumpkin patch,
SNATCH went
the pumpkin to decorate the night.
One little
pumpkin in the pumpkin patch,
SNATCH went
the pumpkin to give someone a fright.
No little
pumpkins in the pumpkin patch,
We’ll have
to wait till next year till the pumpkins grow just right.
Post-it-Note Pumpkin
Patch
Materials needed:
1.
Orange post it notes, green construction paper,
crayons.
2.
Cut out pumpkins shapes from the orange post-it
notes. Careful not to cut off the sticky part, include this part in the bottom
of the pumpkins shapes.
3.
Let the children color the green paper to make
the garden part of the pumpkin patch.
4.
Give each child one sticky pumpkin at a time and
let them put it where ever they like. You will have to help press the sticky
part of the pumpkin to secure it. You can glue the rest of the pumpkin down to
secure it when the children are done.
5.
Let the children color the pumpkin if they would
like.
This craft
works best with two children at a time.
