Winter Wreath
We create wreaths for all seasons and many reasons. Here is
one for winter that even the youngest child can be successful.
Materials needed: green construction paper, glue, scissors,
puff balls, and glitter if you have time.
Directions: For younger children who cannot cut successfully
precut holly leaves and a circle with a hole in the center. First have the
children glue on the leaves, and then add puff balls for decoration. Toddlers
will need supervision. It is suggested that you do this activity with only two
children at a time as the very young still eat small items.
It is tempting to help the very young children a little too
much. Let them do it themselves as much as possible.
