Welcome to our blog, Professionalism in Early Learning.

Welcome to our blog, Professionalism in Early Learning. We are happy you found us!

We are Successful Solutions Training in Child Development, a training organization registered with the Washington Department of Early Learning (DEL), offering courses within our state, and nationally as well. Many of the courses we offer center around the child care field. However, we offer courses that meet other needs, such as Foster Care and parenting, HIV and blood borne pathogens training, Career Online High School, the Child Development Associate Credential, business and STARS training. Click on the Enroll in Online Training tab to browse our courses.

Here at Successful Solutions, we have the very best student support staff! Not only are we the kindest, most helpful ladies around, we are available when you need us. Our hours are (Pacific Time) Monday-Friday 6:30 am – 9 pm AND Saturday-Sunday 8 am – 9 pm, and don't worry if it's a holiday, we are probably here! If you have a question or comment, click on the Contact Us tab at the top of the page. Be sure to check out our Facebook and Pinterest tabs as well.

We are pleased to have two Advanced Level STARS trainers on staff:

Claudette Lindquist has over 25 years experience in early childhood education both as a teacher and as an administrator. Her education includes a Master’s Degree in Human Development. Her extensive professional career has included previously being a child care licensor in King County, a college ECE instructor at Pacific Oaks College, and a grant coordinator.

Debbie Hasbrook has worked with children and families for 37 years. In that time she has been a home provider, teacher, director, Regional and State conference presenter and Adjunct faculty at a number of colleges in Washington State. Her education includes a Master of Education, Montessori Preschool Degree and several certifications.

In this blog, we hope to provide you with as many resources, and as much information, as we can in regards to early learning. Training opportunities, scholarship information, policy details, and news are just a few topics we can discuss. We hope you will send us suggestions, questions and feedback. Let us know what you want to learn. You can do this by email: info@starstraining.org, phone: 360-602-0960, or by clicking the live chat button found on our website: http://www.cdatraining.org/

I think we are off to a good start to the blog. You know who we are and what we wish to provide for you. You are certainly welcome, and encouraged, to come back any time you like.

Henry Ford said “Coming together is a beginning; keeping together is progress; working together is success.”

Welcome to the beginning….
